Swami Gurusharanananda

Swami Gurusharan was blessed to be born in a family of loving saints. His grandfather and grandmother were amazing realized souls. Basically his whole life was inspired by his beloved grandfather, his most important teacher. During his lectures he is usually sharing many beautiful stories about his life with his extrordinary grandparents. He especially mentions his grandfather as a source of true joy in his life. Whenever he shares about water element practices he is inspired by the life and experiences with his grandfather. His main spiritual practice was simply "maujan" (joyfulness).
His father is another big inspiration for him, he is an Ayurvedic and homeopathic practicioner serving the sick and poor people free of cost, out of his for love for the Divine.
Swami Gurusharanananda was born into this blessed family where there was so much love for divinity and pure service for the whole of humanity.
He was very inspired from childhood to live a life dedicated for the good of all. His dream was to be an instrument to spread the love and joy to every child living in poverty.
He was also born as a gifted musician. From a very early age he used to play many musical instruments. Without much training he was able to perform in many school functions.
He was naturally having a deep connection with spiritual way of living and he was moved to an ashram dedicated to Ma Anandamayi at the age of 12.
During his almost 30 years stay in the ashram he met many realized masters who taught in depth the practices of the Five Elements. Throughout the SKY seminars and retreats he shares the amazing wisdom which he has directly learned from these different teachers. During his stay in the ashram he started his first school for underprivileged children living on the banks of Narmada river in the year 1999.
Since then he is continuously sharing his life and wisdom for the benefit of these children. His vision became even more fulfilled when in the year 2015 he started establishing Ma Sharanam Ashram, a place where everyone feels at home, where mother nature and children play together for the supreme goal of life; "We all are One".
He is spending lot of his time with the children in the ashram, serving them, helping them to understand that the Divine Mother is in all the forms. His life is dedicated to the upliftment of poor children and to sharing Swakriya Yoga for the benefit of humanity. To relieve the suffering on earth he is teaching in many parts of the world.
For many years he had been waiting and searching for a true aspirant, a devotee of Divine Mother. Since the first moment he met Devi Saraswati he knew his vision was getting fulfilled. There was an immediate recognition, and his inner guidence was telling him "Now the flow of Swakriya Yoga will be very inspired and harmonious, people everywhere will be benefited fully. The time has come to spread Swakriya Yoga together to whole of humanity, with the grace of Divine Mother".
